Stored in DDS files. (Direct Draw Surface)

Example: data\landscape\egyptian\t_egyptian_ls_r02_dif.dds (Everything.stuff)


To open and/or edit these files you will need 3 things

  1. Photoshop
  2. A DDS handler/plugin (different ones depending on which GFX card you use, ATI or nVidia)
    1. nvidia = nVidia Developer Tools
    2. ATI = ATI Developer Tools
  3. ricky26's amazing program, to get at those DDS', obtained at BW2Files known as UnSTUFF.

Oh, and just a little information. When you are saving them using the nvidia application (I don't know about ATI), you save them as 8:8:8:8, which is ARGB.
